EPIC Dunk Template
How the fixed EPIC dunk template works, what the solo and duo scenes change, and why preparation matters.
What an EPIC dunk template is
An epic dunk template is a prepared basketball clip with known timing, framing and camera movement. EPIC Dunk AI uses that clip as the motion reference, then places your uploaded people into the selected roles.
This differs from a blank AI video prompt. A prompt asks a system to invent the court, the crowd and the action at the same time. A template keeps all of those elements stable. You make fewer decisions, and the Basketball AI Trend result is easier to repeat.
The two fixed scenes
Solo Arena Dunk
Solo Arena Dunk is a 15 second vertical shot. One main player dribbles toward the basket, gathers, jumps, finishes with one hand and celebrates while the crowd reacts.
Duo Arena Finish
Duo Arena Finish is a 12 second sequence with a lead player and a featured defender. The defender is part of the prepared scene. The second photo slot is optional; add a photo to include another featured person, or leave it empty to keep the prepared defender.
Both templates share the same core structure: a packed arena, polished hardwood, fixed background players and a continuous camera move.
What the uploaded photos change
The first photo becomes the main player. In the duo template, the optional second photo becomes the second featured participant. Full-body preparation creates a clean reference for each person before the video begins.
The generator prepares that reference automatically. It produces a plain-background portrait with the whole body visible, then uses that image to keep the person consistent during the action. The arena background in the final clip still comes from the fixed scene.
The photos do not change the court, crowd, basket, lighting or background players. Those elements stay in place.
Why the template is useful
An epic dunk video depends on timing. The leap has to feel connected to the approach, and the ball has to meet the rim at the right point. A fixed scene gives every render the same coherent action.
It also makes the workflow accessible. You do not need to stage a basketball court, find a camera operator or learn a video editor. You choose the scene, provide the photos and generate.
What it is not
EPIC Dunk AI is not real game footage. The clips are generated, stylised social videos. They should not be presented as evidence of a real match or a real athletic performance.
The product is also not a full editing suite. It does not expose a timeline, keyframes or a prompt editor. The templates are intentionally narrow so the output stays predictable.
Choose the right scene
Use the solo template when one person should carry the shot. Use the duo template when you want a contested finish and have a second photo to include. If you are unsure, start with Solo Arena Dunk; it has the fewest inputs.
